find friendly Outposters.
Entering our 20th
year of operations, the Outpost will host many of its concerts
in the 250 seat Sanctuary of The Unitarian Universalist Congregation
at Montclair. This new Outpost venue will permit us to accomodate
more concert goers at as well as schedule shows later into the
spring and early summer. (The new venue is airconditioned.)
Larger shows will be held either in the 700+ seat Sanctuary of
the First Congregational Church, Montclair (where we have staged
many shows over the years) or at our other new Outpost venue,
the 1,500 seat Montclair High School Auditorium.
Outpost offices remain at the First Congregational Church, 40
South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair 07042-3396. All correspondence
should be sent to that address. Also, that complex will continue
to be the base for our community service projects and recreational/social
activites such as our Spiritual Drumming series.

PUBLIC TRANSIT FROM NYC
DeCamp Bus Lines, Inc. has two buses that serve Montclair.

The #66R line will stop at the corner of Church St. and Park St. (a short block from the Unitarian Church and about a block and a half from the First Congregational Church).

The #66R line will also stop at the corner of Park St. and Chestnut Ave. The High School auditorium is 200 feet to your north.

The #33 line will stop at the corner of Bloomfield Ave. and Park St. (add a block walking distance to further from the Outpost than above).

They leave the Port Authority Bus Terminal for Montclair every half hour. The last #66R back to NYC stops at "YMCA on Park" at 11:50pm. The last 33 (from Bloomfield and Gates — approximately 4 blocks from Church St. and Park St.) back to NYC is midnight.
NJ Transit's Montclair–Bouton commuter train line serves all three Oupost locations.

NJ Transit's Bay St and Walnut St stations are convenient to the two church sites and the Watchung station is a 10 minute walk to the Montclair High School auditorium.
